Dr. Rafiqul Islam Hilaly, born on 1 May 1969, is a distinguished political and business leader in Bangladesh, known for his contributions to both corporate development and public service. He completed his B.A. (Honors) and M.A. from the University of Chittagong and later earned a Ph.D. from America World University, California, USA, in 2011. With decades of leadership experience, Dr. Hilaly currently serves as Director of Ashaloy Housing & Developers Ltd. and MACH10 Holdings Ltd., where he has played a significant role in housing development, infrastructure growth, and employment generation. Alongside his business career, he has been actively involved in politics for over three decades through the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). Beginning with student politics at the University of Chittagong, he later held several important positions within BNP and contested multiple national elections as a party candidate for Netrakona-3 (Kendua–Atpara). He currently serves as a Member of the National Executive Committee of Central BNP and Member Secretary of BNP Netrakona District. Dr. Hilaly is widely recognized for his visionary leadership, organizational strength, and dedication to the social, political, and economic development of Bangladesh.
